Windows 7 Live Essential

Windows Live Essentials will enable you to perform e-mail, instant messaging, photo editing, and blogging. Some of them include Messenger, Photo Gallery, Mail, Writer and others.

The version of Window Live Essentials in the earlier versions of Windows was not as advanced as in Windows 7.

In Microsoft’s latest operating system Window Live Essentials have been presented with a freshness to keep you moving briskly and conveniently.
Microsoft has introduced a new tool, Windows Live Photo Gallery, in its latest operating system, Windows 7, that helps you to view, find, organize, open and edit photos and pictures. You can access all the pictures, videos from Picture folder in Windows Live Photo Gallery. It also allows you to print, order and share photos using your email client.

With the help of Messenger you can chat instantly with friends and family on your PC or mobile phone. Messenger enables you to stay in touch with your favorite people in real time.

With Mail you can manage you multiple e-mail accounts simultaneous and easily. With this software you can manage all your e-mail accounts, including Windows Live Hotmail and third party accounts, from within Mail. It keeps your mind away from hassles of logging in to multiple accounts to check all your e-mail.
With Photo Gallery you can share and organize your photographs. You can also restrict your sharing with certain validations. With Photo Gallery you can get your photos and videos from your camera to your PC.

The left pane in Windows Live Photo Gallery displays a tree structure, like the Folders list, that allows you to display pictures by different criteria. To help you sort and search for pictures, you can add tags, ratings, and captions to pictures. The Find box is also there to help you. You can press the View button to change the icon thumbnail views, view a table of contents, or display groups and sorts.
Although Windows Live Photo Gallery is not an inbuilt feature of Windows 7, it can be downloaded from Microsoft Windows Live at http://download.live.com.
Follow these steps to view pictures in Windows Live Photo Gallery:
STEP 1. Click the Start button, navigate to All Programs, go to Windows Live, and then click Windows Live Photo Gallery. If prompted, Sign in.
STEP 2. Use the tree structure in the left pane to view the pictures:
•All photos and videos. Click a picture or video folder.
•Click a date to display media.
•Click a tag to display media.
•Click Add a new tag, type a tag name, and then press Enter.
STEP 3. Use controls at the bottom of the window to change the display size, view details, play slide show,
delete pictures, and rotate pictures.
